Matera Marcin

In 2004 I have obtained M.A. concerned on Roman imperial fleet. Since 2005 I work at the Department of History of Ancient Material Culture at the Institute of Archaeology University of Warsaw. I am a member of several archaeological expeditions: at Tanais (Russia), at Tyritake (Ukraine), and at Palazzolo Acreide (Italy). I have worked also at some archaeological sites in Poland, France and Montenegro. My researching interests include: archaeology of Greek colonization; archaeology of Black Sea area, ceramics epigraphy – especially amphora stamps, amphorology, and problems of trade in antiquity.
