Chrzanovski Laurent
I am an archaeologist, specialized in the field of illumination techniques and artefacts. I made my PhD at the University of Lausanne and Postoctoral Studies at the Romanian Academy of Sciences, Cluj-Napoca branch. At the moment I am PhD co-director at Lyon II University and Privat-Dozent at Cluj and Sibiu Universities. I also work as a specialist for different universities/museums/government bodies, mostly in Switzerland and Romania. I led excavations at Ostia Antica, and participated in many excavations, mostly in Italy, Libya and Crimea. My main interests are lychnology – I'm founder and secretary-general of the International Lychnological Association – but also ethno-archaeology and cultural projects design & management.
